"Then the new Gork Gargant still hasn't arrived?"
Euclid muttered as he worked the heavy control levers.
"Looks like they're busy arguing with themselves."
The Big Mek pushed his growing dissatisfaction with the Scrap City Mekboyz from his mind and continued onward.
Every so often, he rotated his vehicle's head and swept the detectors back and forth.
Because of its immense weight, every step his mech took pulverized the ruins beneath its feet.
He needed to inspect every route leading to the battlefield to prevent any further obstacles. A few days earlier, he had clashed with the Civic Temple's Wanderer. The Gork Gargant had suffered some damage; although it had received hasty repairs, several weapon systems had yet to fully recover.
Even now, a whole crowd of Mekboyz were working overtime inside the Gork Gargant's belly.
He felt huge chunks of rock shatter beneath the Gork Gargant's feet. The sensory analog system magnified his bodily senses to the same scale as the Gork Gargant's.
The silver-white Ork Titan's ponderous strides shook the earth. Its barrel-shaped armored shell was covered in dents, cracks, and scorch marks, evidence of the severe challenge it had faced not long ago.
At the machine's core, Snotlings maintained the massive reactor. They wore relatively simple protective gear and moved sluggishly and lazily, needing the Mekboyz beside them to constantly whip and kick them before they could barely get any work done.
Behind the control room, arcs crackled over a gigantic transformer. Cables several meters thick and an iron grating behind the command room connected it to the central sensors.
Amid the piercing crackles, blue electricity burst from the transformer and rippled along the pipes suspended overhead.
Steam, sparks, and burning Snotlings rolling about had always been the most common sights inside the Gork Gargant.
"Hm?"
