As Ava continued, she desperately met Guk's gaze.
"You began marching west with your army, yet there was no declaration or explanation. That has led to the corresponding consequences... We cannot guess your intentions, nor can we coordinate with your forces. You naturally have the right to act freely, but we still cannot determine your next destination."
Guk's face remained motionless, like a mask.
Though his expression did not change, Ava could sense his disappointment.
She also felt ridiculous.
He was a warrior in every sense of the word, a weapon made for destruction. He had no interest in discussing diplomatic bullshit.
"You think, birdie."
Guk impatiently rolled his neck.
"You're the first one to complain to me about this?"
His tone casually and politely conveyed utter disinterest. Ava did not know whether he meant it that way, but it made no difference.
"No, Your Majesty."
Ava gathered her courage and resolved to focus on her task.
"As far as I know, ten state-level diplomatic letters have already been sent from Phoenix Palace to your location."
Faced with an army of unknown destination, even the supposedly allied Harpy Kingdom felt deeply uneasy.
Thus, the queen had immediately attempted to learn the purpose of Guk's advance.
Yet no friendly, even humble inquiry had received a response. This silence had thrown Phoenix Palace into panic. They could no longer determine the tyrant's true intentions.
"Ten?"
He lowered his eyelids, a faint smile on his face.
"I don't remember. And what else do you want to add?"
"Those representatives were not honored with the opportunity to speak with you face-to-face, Your Majesty."
Ava paused, then gathered her courage again.
"What I hope is that, if I can explain the situation in detail, perhaps we can establish a framework
