"Boss, it's Iron Axle. We've found Shrimp. They're in the forest to the northwest."
Amid the jolting ride, the communicator in Gogu's helmet carried the loud report of one of his convoy bosses, who was struggling to keep his voice from being drowned out by the roar of motorcycles running at full throttle.
Gogu's legion was the smallest of all the legions, because anyone who wanted to join it needed at least one thing that could run.
He had divided the legion into eighteen convoys. Each convoy was led by a Speed Boss, with Speed Freeks under him—some rode motorcycles, some drove four-wheelers, and some even drove trucks.
But without exception, they all shared the same pursuit—
Fast! Fast! Fast!
"Can you confirm their numbers? Unit types?"
Gogu gave his deputy a look, signaling him to notify the troops to prepare for departure.
Behind him, the roar of engines had already shaken the sky. Once unleashed, making the Speed Freeks wait more than ten seconds was an ordeal.
His convoys had suffered some losses while breaking through the humans' lines and clashing with those armored trains, but that was all. Gogu had still completed the task of driving them off and completely destroyed one of their locomotives.
Afterward, he had also taken part in the siege of Gammel Fortress, crushing the enemy that had tried to support it from the flank with a swift assault.
Though he still did not understand the true nature of Guk's strategy, if the Overlord had started a war and victory required reducing everything in their path to wasteland, then they had to take part.
Nothing made Orks happier than destruction itself.
Of course, if they could destroy things very quickly, that was even better.
"Uh... not yet. I'll go back for another look, Boss—"
