On the day of the main tournament, Lotus City Light Institute's match was scheduled for four in the afternoon.
It was not quite a prime-time slot, but still a fairly good one.
By the finals, plenty of matches were worth watching. Especially today, when nearly all the teams that could be considered serious rivals had matches scheduled. However, Xi Min did not have her players watch the other teams today. Instead, she told them to relax as much as possible and focus only on the opponent they would be facing.
As for the other teams' matches, they would review them afterward.
The competing teams were assigned to different arenas. Every team playing that day had its own preparation room, and each team had to arrive there and check in at least an hour before the match began.
Twenty minutes before the official start, the head coach and players had to leave the preparation room for the arena. There was a waiting area there where they could see both the stage and the opposing team's waiting area. After lunch that afternoon, Xi Min led the players to their preparation room.
"Our opponent, Saigon City College, came up through the qualifiers. Back when there were fewer slots in the finals, they usually hovered around the bottom of the group-stage qualifiers and occasionally failed to make the finals. They are not a particularly strong opponent, but we cannot let our guard down."
Before the match, Xi Min gave her final instructions.
"Don't treat this like a game. You can look down on them in your hearts, but don't hold back when you fight. Understood?"
Seeing them nod, Xi Min said no more. "All right, rest for a while. The match is about to begin."
In the official livestream, the previous match had ended
