Duke thought it over and agreed. Since he lived in Sky City, he would have to deal with the people from the City Lord's Manor sooner or later.
He just hadn't expected the man to come the very next day. It seemed he truly wanted to meet him.
Todd had taken this matter very seriously at first, but after seeing Duke, he felt that perhaps he had been taking it too seriously.
Because Duke himself was not particularly strong, possessing only the mental power of a Low-Rank Mage.
On top of that, he was far too young. How much experience in Potions could someone so young have accumulated? Most likely, even less than Todd.
And the shop was far too shabby. These so-called potions were simply placed out in the open, with no sign of any seriousness toward potions at all. Everything felt casual and careless.
This made Todd believe that Duke was not a rigorous researcher. Attitude determined many things.
Still, since he was already here, he should at least see what level Duke's potions were at.
Todd asked politely, "Mr. Duke, may I take a look at the potions you made?"
"Of course. Help yourself." Duke smiled, then continued sitting in his chair, looking utterly relaxed.
Todd walked over to the wooden crate and picked up a bottle labeled Basic Mana Restoration Potion.
He pulled out the stopper, and an extremely pure aura of magic power instantly spread through the air, carrying a faint scent of grass and wood.
Mage Todd's pupils suddenly contracted, the suspicion on his face instantly replaced by shock.
As someone who had dealt with potion ingredients for years, he had brewed countless potions himself.
Yet the potions he usually made either had mixed, burnt smells, murky colors, or extremely unstable magic power fluctuations.
