Samuel activated his Bloodline Power as he spoke, quickly transforming into a form similar to Bell's. The aura of his strength was even slightly greater than Bell's.
A trace of fear actually appeared on Bell's face. He knew very well that his younger brother was a monster, whether in talent or any other aspect.
If they truly fought to the death, he would most likely be no match for Samuel.
"Cough—cough—"
Only then did Reed barely manage to stand up, continuously coughing up black blood laced with violent energy.
It was clear from this alone that he was in terrible condition. The power carried by that shadow blade was ravaging Reed's body. If it was not dealt with in time, he would most likely die.
The fact that Reed could still stand under such circumstances only showed that his physique was indeed powerful and his will sufficiently tenacious.
He stood before Bell, his burly body hunched over. The wounds on his chest and back were still Bleeding, black blood dripping onto the ground and flowing away.
"Oh, Reed, you are quite a good servant. But do you dare attack me? In your current state, do you still have the strength to attack me?" Samuel said with a smile, his youthful face filled with killing intent.
Reed said nothing, and there was no expression on his face. He merely continued carrying out his duty: protecting Bell.
He truly could not attack Samuel, but he still had to do everything possible to protect Bell. That was his mission.
So all he could do next was most likely endure the blows passively. He could neither attack Samuel nor stop protecting Bell, even though he was already gravely wounded and on the brink of death.
Reed was merely a servant of the Crawford Family.
