Beginning with Ryoku-shiki, the ten souls of Mokushiki, Earth Release, Wind-shiki, Unshiki, Ranshiki, Enshiki, Ginshiki, Kesshiki, and Kage-shiki—
were all sent into the passage leading to the Pure Land.
None of them had ever died before, and upon arriving here, they all looked somewhat bewildered.
Since they had never specialized in the soul, they could only keep their souls awakened for some time at most.
As a cold gust swept past—
the ten Divine Court Clan souls all began to feel cold.
Their expressions gradually grew dazed as well.
Only Kage-shiki, who cultivated Shadow Rules and had some connection to the soul,
remained the clearest-minded.
The other nine Otsutsuki souls drifted forward in a muddle.
Kage-shiki's body gradually stiffened as well.
"What's going on!? Why has my Karma stopped working?"
"Could this be this planet's Soul Sanctuary!?"
"Yes. Welcome here. Become my nourishment."
A voice rang out from midair.
Kage-shiki watched as the Soul Power flowing from the other Divine Court Clan members drifted toward the air.
A figure emerged in midair—a Soul Body that was almost solid.
The instant Kage-shiki saw Yashiro, immense killing intent erupted from him.
Then—
Kage-shiki's soul was severed at the neck, split into two halves, and he lost consciousness.
Yashiro nodded in satisfaction. Then, with a wave of his hand, he sent out a fierce gust of wind.
All the Divine Court Clan souls shattered, turning into pure energy that was drawn into Yashiro.
Within a few breaths, Yashiro's body had become fully corporeal.
He looked toward the end of the passage.
That was the Pure Land, where an immense amount of Soul Energy was stored.
If he devoured those souls in one go, he could directly reach the standard of a Star God.
In the universe, all beings below Star Gods were ants.
