The greatest advantage of Human Sage Art was its low risk.

By comparison, absorbing Natural Energy through Frog Sage Mode could cause Frog Transformation, while doing so through Snake Sage Mode could cause Snake Transformation.

That was because once Natural Energy entered the body, it transformed energy according to the bodies of snakes and frogs, naturally leading to Snake Transformation and Frog Transformation.

If energy mixing failed with Human Sage Art, the body would swell and ache, as if it had been struck by a blunt weapon.

In severe cases, there could be bruising and internal bleeding, but there was absolutely no danger to life.

To keep them from disturbing one another, Natsuki separated everyone.

Then they each began to try cultivating sage arts.

They started by sensing Natural Energy, drawing it into their bodies, and mixing it into Sage Chakra.

Among them, Haku and Kimimaro had the greatest talent, and their temperaments were also well suited to cultivating sage arts.

For the time being, Natsuki did not check on the others and instead stayed beside Haku and Kimimaro.

Haku absorbed Natural Energy with great ease, then stored it within his body.

The entire process flowed as smoothly as drifting clouds and running water. Given enough time, entering Sage Mode would be as easy as eating and drinking for Haku.

Kimimaro was much the same. Natsuki's blood flowed through his body, so his Nature Affinity was naturally very high.

However, he was different from Haku.

Kimimaro sensed Natural Energy and absorbed it into his body.

Yet no matter how much Natural Energy he mixed, it vanished once it was refined into Sage Chakra.

After cultivating for a while, Kimimaro opened his eyes.

Natsuki had been watching beside him all along. Smiling, he asked, "Did the Sage Chakra disappear?"

Kimimaro nodded.
