It was true.

Obito was somewhat stunned. He had been waiting for the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to recover so he could immediately begin planning for the Jinchuriki.

He wanted to obtain the corpses of former Jinchuriki as backups.

As for the corpses of Kage-level powerhouses, they were naturally meant for reanimating powerful warriors.

But he never imagined that Hiruko could get his hands on Tobirama Senju's corpse.

"Are you sure it's Tobirama Senju's corpse?"

After tossing out those words, Obito directly severed the connection.

If it really was Tobirama Senju's corpse, it would be immensely useful to Obito.

Hiruko and Kakuzu did not have to wait long.

A vortex appeared in midair, and Obito stepped out of it.

"Where is it?" There was a trace of urgency in his tone.

Holding the scroll, Hiruko said, "Kakuzu and I did this together. I want the Sharingan, and Kakuzu wants fifty million."

He had originally intended to ask Obito for an advance of fifty million, but Obito directly said, "If it really is Tobirama Senju's corpse, I'll give you both what you want."

Hiruko hesitated before handing the scroll to Obito first.

Kakuzu angrily said, "Wait. Give me my money first. I lost three hearts and nearly died out there."

"I don't care about Hiruko's share. Give me my money first."

Kakuzu did not care whether Obito or Hiruko paid him. He just wanted the money in hand first.

Obito was somewhat anxious, but seeing that Kakuzu was still covered in injuries and acting as money-grubbing as ever, he thought Kakuzu's suspicion should be cleared.
