Loving and Killing Each Other

Cloud Village training grounds.

When Natsuki and the others followed Dodai and the Raikage here,

the place was surrounded by layers upon layers of Cloud Village shinobi.

The way everyone looked at Natsuki and the others was filled with hostility. After all, they had come right to their doorstep to challenge them. Naturally, no one would be friendly toward them.

Yet Cloud Village had no way to deal with them. To Cloud Village, this was already a tremendous humiliation.

At the edge of the massive arena, Natsuki patted Yōya on the back, then whispered something into his ear.

Yōya nodded, then jumped straight onto the platform.

He drew his long blade and rested it on his shoulder, calling out loudly,

"Send up whichever Jinchuriki you want."

That was incredibly arrogant. The meaning was obvious: no matter who came, the outcome would be the same.

The surrounding Cloud Village shinobi began shouting loudly.

"What a big mouth!"

"Killer B, show him what you can do!"

"Teach this guy a lesson!"

Killer B wore a solemn expression, seven swords strapped across his back as he stepped forward. "Let me experience the Uchiha Clan's—"

Dodai suddenly reached out and stopped Killer B.

Dodai gave the order directly. "Yugito, you're more familiar with Yōya. You'll take this round."

Yugito suddenly turned to glare at Dodai, then snorted angrily before leaping onto the platform in two bounds.

Dodai's expression did not change, as though he had long expected Yugito to be dissatisfied with him.

The Raikage scrutinized the scene with an assessing look, but did not speak up to stop it.

Natsuki's lips curled up slightly before relaxing again.

When Yōya saw Yugito enter the arena, excitement and happiness appeared on his face.

He flicked his long blade. "This time, I'll make you my captive!"
