The confirmation of the meteorite spread like wildfire.
Early the next morning, the Imperial City erupted.
Countless people poured into the streets, toward the imperial palace, government buildings, and the Academy of Scientific Research.
They held up signs, shouted slogans, and demanded answers to the same question.
"Is that meteorite real?!"
"Did the Empire know about it?!"
"Why didn't you tell us?!"
A young goblin in work clothes rushed to the entrance of the research institute and grabbed the guard by the collar.
"What do you people research every day? Ways to hide things from us?!"
The guard was at a complete loss. "I... I'm just a doorman. I don't know either..."
"You don't know? Your institute gets so much funding every year, and this is what you came up with?"
"No, it's not like I spent the funding! I only make three thousand a month. What the hell would I know?!"
