Upon hearing that hundreds of thousands of Undead were blocking their path, the leader among the Six-Winged Angels spoke.
His voice was not loud, but it was clear, echoing through the air like a bell.
"What kind of Undead? What are their levels?"
The Paladin Order commander closed his eyes briefly, as if recalling the images sent back by the Heaven Birds.
"Most are low-tier Undead—Skeleton Soldiers, Zombies, Ghouls—but there are larger creatures among them."
"I saw Skeletal Dragons, Lava Colossi, a giant tree, and a huge eye. Their levels are not low, at least Disaster-tier."
The Six-Winged Angel fell silent for a moment.
They had come to infiltrate the Third Defense Zone with a mission. If they were held up by this group of Undead, it would likely affect their subsequent plans.
His wings fluttered softly, flames dancing along the edges of his feathers.
"Can we go around them?"
The Paladin Order commander shook his head.
"We can't. They're spread too wide. There's no end in sight from east to west. We're in the middle, and whichever way we detour, we'll run into them."
Another Six-Winged Angel spoke, his voice colder.
"Then fight through them. Punch through their formation, tear open a gap in the middle, and charge out."
The leading Six-Winged Angel did not answer immediately. He was calculating, weighing the options.
Several hundred thousand Undead, most of them low-tier, were not much of a concern.
But those Disaster-tier giants would not be easy to deal with.
Skeletal Dragons, Lava Colossi, the giant tree, the enormous eyeball, and those shadows whose levels they could not make out.
If they were entangled, the entire force might be dragged down.
But if they did not fight through, what else could they do?
Retreat?
Behind them was the Second Defensive Line.
