"You'd best keep your mouth shut about that one-sided bet we made earlier." Snape shot Gemini a dark look. "Unless you want me to pursue what happened on the train… but if it happens again, I'll have you expelled."
Gemini blinked innocently, accepting Snape's words as fact.
He hadn't really expected Snape to keep his promise anyway. The whole thing was just a joke, and it was already great that Snape wasn't pursuing the train incident. Gemini wasn't asking for anything more.
"Everyone has secrets. A great wizard, in particular, has many secrets they can't speak of. I don't know if you'll become a great wizard in the future, but I know you have secrets." Snape stared at Gemini, speaking slowly.
"How many secrets are hidden beneath that troll-like brute strength?" Snape asked, taking a small vial from his robes. The vial contained an unknown potion.
"Do you know what this is?"
Gemini blinked. "I think… it's at least not yogurt. The color's different."
"Truth Serum…" Snape forced a strange smile onto his face. "Just three drops are enough to make you spill all the most unspeakable secrets deep within your heart. If I find out you've caused any more trouble, I can't guarantee I won't accidentally spill some into your pumpkin juice."
Gemini looked at Snape, hesitating.
"Speak—"
"I don't like pumpkin juice, Professor."
"Blast it all! Get out! Now! Get out!"
Snape's voice grew increasingly furious. Gemini performed a backflip, landing nimbly by the door. He pushed the door open and ran.
Inside the office, Snape let out a cold snort and sat back down behind his desk.
The day passed without any further incident.
As night fell, Gemini's figure appeared on the eighth floor once more.
"I need a place to hide something!"
This time, the door to the Room of Requirement was much larger than yesterday. Pushing it open, Gemini entered a hall filled with clutter.
Even calling it a hall felt like an understatement – the room was simply too vast!
Piles of clutter were stacked like small mountains: tables, chairs, benches, brooms, clothes, statues, cabinets, celestial models, books, toys – it seemed every kind of item could be found within this hall.
Gemini searched around. He was looking for a bust of a male wizard.
There were many statues in this enormous hall, but Gemini quickly found what he was looking for.
It was a bust of an ugly male wizard with a pockmarked face. Gemini rummaged through the piles of clutter nearby and soon found an old, faded diadem.
"Wisdom beyond measure is humanity's greatest wealth."
He softly recited the inscription at the base of the diadem and casually put it into an empty storage space.
'Detected recyclable item. Recycle?'
'Detected repairable item. Repair?'
Suddenly, a status panel appeared in Gemini's vision.
"What is recycling? What is repairing?" Gemini asked.
The panel quickly provided an answer.
Recycling allowed certain items deemed valuable by the weapon shop to be sold to it. Repairing involved paying a certain amount of currency to restore an item to its highest value state.
Gemini frowned. Recycling or repairing didn't matter, but the crucial point was that this diadem contained a remnant soul of Voldemort.
Who knew what unpredictable chemical reactions might occur?
"Do… do you have any thoughts about this soul?" Gemini asked tentatively. He suddenly realized that putting the diadem into his storage space had been a bit rash.
This weapon shop had been bound to him since his reincarnation. Gemini didn't know if others had this item, nor did he know the exact nature of his relationship with it. They had always coexisted peacefully, but Gemini had never dared to trust it completely.
'The shop and the host's souls are one. They prosper and suffer together. If the host perishes, the shop perishes.'
'Weapon Shop's First Rule: No harm, psychological or physiological, shall be inflicted upon the host in any form.'
'After recycling, any useless remnant souls hidden within the item will be purified and used to strengthen the host's own soul.'
'After repair, any useless remnant souls hidden within the item will be purified and used to strengthen the host's own soul.'
'Recycling Price: Ten thousand Galleons. (Convertible to other currencies)'
'Repair Price: One thousand Galleons. (Convertible to other currencies)'
"Convert it to pounds and repair it." Gemini felt a little relieved. He was very curious about Ravenclaw's diadem.
As soon as he spoke, the diadem vanished from the storage space. After a moment, it reappeared. Simultaneously, a milky white orb of light appeared before Gemini.
The orb flickered with white light and, in the blink of an eye, merged into Gemini's body.
The sudden change made Gemini pause slightly. "What was that just now…"
'Pure soul power after purification.'
The weapon shop replied.
Gemini blinked. The moment the orb disappeared into his body, he indeed felt a sense of inexplicable power.
This power didn't come from his body but from a spiritual level.
'Soul power can greatly enhance the host's mental strength, focus, willpower, and talent for controlling their own abilities.'
Gemini nodded and took out Ravenclaw's Diadem from his storage space.
It was completely different from its previous shabby appearance. The Diadem now looked brand new, and it was obvious at a glance that it was no ordinary item.
As he slowly placed the Diadem on his head, Gemini's mind instantly became clear and open!
He hadn't paid much attention to Professor Binns's boring lecture during the day, but now, with just a thought, he could recall every word Professor Binns had said. Difficult points in his spellbook that had troubled him were also resolved instantly.
Ravenclaw's Diadem lived up to its name!
However, Gemini felt that this item enhanced a person's intelligence by strengthening their memory, focusing their attention, and broadening their thinking. It didn't make a person inherently smarter.
Even with this method of enhancing intelligence, its value was immeasurable. After all, the amplification was evident, and the effect produced was increased intelligence.
"How much does this thing cost?"
The weapon shop quickly provided a price.
Item: Diadem of Wisdom.
Price: Two hundred thousand British Pounds.
Gemini's mouth twitched. Fortunately, he hadn't sold it. What a damn profiteer...
Shaking his head, Gemini discovered that once the Diadem was placed on his head, it would stay firmly in place. Unless he personally took it off, it would not automatically detach.
"What a great item..."
Full of emotion, Gemini put it back into his storage space.
"Such a huge hall, let's take a look. See if I can find anything else interesting."
Gemini's eyes, as he looked at the pile of junk, seemed to sparkle.
