Gemini ended up coming out for the snowball fight after all—Fred and George had dragged him out.
By then, quite a few students had gathered outside the castle. Most of them had been egged on by the twins into joining the snowball fight. Even Adria, who usually seemed rather quiet and refined, had come running out because of Gemini.
"Gather into a pile."
Gemini held out both hands, and the snow on the open ground before him immediately swirled into the air, gathering into a heap in front of him.
Then, he lifted one hand. The pile of snow began to compress and reshape itself, eventually becoming more than a dozen round snowballs floating behind him.
"Behold my Six Paths Gemini!"
Under the twins' astonished gazes, Gemini waved his hand. "Vipera Evanesca!"
Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud...
A string of snowballs chased after the twins, pelting them wildly. Every so often, one slipped down a collar, and the icy sensation made both of them howl.
"You can fight with snowballs like that?"
Harry and Ron exchanged looks, their faces full of shock.
The snowball fight immediately turned into a high-level battle...
The Transfiguration Gemini had used while forming the snowballs was as basic as basic could be. It was not particularly difficult for Harry and Ron.
Very quickly, once the students realized they could fight this way, hundreds and thousands of snowballs began flying through the courtyard. For a time, the courtyard was filled with flying ammunition.
Everyone had previously stayed out in the open courtyard, but now they simply found cover and hid behind it. Whoever dared stick their head out would immediately be swallowed by an overwhelming barrage of snowballs.
This snowball fight was even more ruthless than anything Northeasterners would pull.
