Final Thoughts

This book had finally come to an end. It felt like there was still so much I could write, but I truly couldn't keep going.

From July 2022 to March 2024—twenty-one months and 4.21 million words. It really hadn't been easy. Though there'd been quite a bit of filler.

My previous book was two million words, but this one had directly doubled that. I never expected to write so much.

A lot had happened over these nearly two years, yet time had passed so quickly.

My biggest regret was losing the ability to write ten thousand words a day around July and August last year because of cervical spine issues and repetitive strain.

Later, my enthusiasm faded, and many climactic scenes I had imagined weren't written well.

I could only wait until the next book to make up for them.

I gained a lot from this book. I felt I had improved in every aspect.

But some problems still remained, and I still had to work hard to improve them.

For my next book, I'd be moving into original fiction. I didn't know whether I could handle it; if it flopped, I'd probably have to come back and keep writing fanfiction.

As for whether I'd continue writing Pokémon stories or other fanfiction, only the future would tell.
