Lin Chongshu approached the edge of the shoreline and used Sand Eye to observe from afar.
On the shore, several squads of Sand Village soldiers moved about in their respective areas, their injuries plainly visible.
Karura huddled beside him. There were still quite a few people patrolling in the distance; this was definitely not the usual patrol arrangement:
"How could anyone be attacking here? Is it Kirigakure?"
As she spoke, she glanced at Lin Chongshu. In her mind, Lin Chongshu represented Kirigakure's forces.
Lin Chongshu did not answer and continued watching for the gap during the patrol shift change.
A squad had just completed its handover when Lin Chongshu sprang out of hiding and landed directly in front of them.
There were eight people in the squad: one Chunin, two Genin, and five ordinary soldiers.
Since every village held its own Chunin Ninja Exams during wartime, the standards of Chunins across the nations varied greatly.

A soldier in the back opened his mouth to shout, but Lin Chongshu darted forward. Red light flared in his eyes as his palm struck the man's chest.

No sound came from the man's mouth. Red light appeared in his eyes first, and he immediately fell silent.
Karura followed him over and stood behind Lin Chongshu as she asked:
"Is Kirigakure going to attack the Land of Wind too?"
Lin Chongshu turned and glanced at her while placing Puppet Curses on each person controlled by the genjutsu.
"Excited to be back home? Why are you talking so much?"
Karura fell silent for the moment.
Lin Chongshu raised a hand, leaving only one Genin standing where he was. The red light in the others' eyes began to fade, and
