Lin Chongshu opened his eyes and tossed the stone into his ninja tool pouch.
He had originally planned to get a few pieces for Honglin, Mikoto, Nonō, and the others, to help slow their aging so they could keep him company for a few more years.
But now it seemed there was a certain degree of danger, and it might even alter their appearance. Better forget it.

He turned to look at Ranke and Kamira on the ground.
"Do you know how this Undead Soldier Manufacturing Device works?"
Kamira was curled up within the seal. She had already returned to human form and said softly,
"I don't know. Lord Haido directed all of this research. No one besides him and the research team knows."
Lin Chongshu repeated quietly,
"There's a research team too... So does that mean you two are useless?"
He held his palm toward them and clenched it in the air. The two seals contracted at the same time.
Kamira hurriedly spoke first. "No! I know how to use this device. If you have it, I can operate it for you."
"Oh." Lin Chongshu paused, then turned toward Ranke as his palm continued tightening.
Ranke glanced at Kamira first, then hurriedly shouted,
"I can too! I can operate this device too!"
Lin Chongshu did not loosen his hand. "One person is enough!"
Ranke immediately changed her tune. "Then... then I can control this ship."
After saying that, she looked around. The ship had already been completely wrecked. Though she could control it, she could not repair it...
Her mouth remained open as she tried to think of something else to say, but Lin Chongshu had already released his grip.
