Son Goku vs. Supreme Kai Shin

"Hmm!" Vegeta looked over.

"Wow! So you're that Saiyan? Lord Supreme Kai said you're really strong, right? How about we spar?" Son Goku said excitedly.

Broly was somewhat at a loss when dealing with someone with Son Goku's personality, so he could only turn a pleading look toward Shin.

Shin smiled as he introduced them to Broly. "Broly, this is Son Goku. You can also call him Kakarot. That one over there is Vegeta. Like you, they are Saiyans. They're your people."

"My people?" Broly did not quite understand what the term meant.

Shin explained, "Just like your father, they are all your family."

"Family." Broly's eyes lit up. He understood that word, and the way he looked at Son Goku and Vegeta softened.

Vegeta stared at Broly, looking him over from head to toe. So this is the Saiyan Supreme Kai mentioned, the one with the greatest talent? He's nothing special. His ki is ordinary.

Son Goku grabbed Broly, wanting to spar with him, but Broly was not naturally combative and truly did not want to fight.

Seeing that he could not persuade Broly, Son Goku turned his gaze toward Shin. His eyes lit up as he said, "Lord Supreme Kai, you haven't forgotten what you promised me, have you?!"

Shin smiled at Son Goku. He did not even need to read his mind; just from the expression on Son Goku's face, he knew what he wanted. He nodded. "Of course I haven't forgotten. What, do you want to spar with me now?"

"What?!"

Kibito's eyes widened. He glared viciously at Son Goku and rebuked him, "You mortal! You actually dare to challenge the great Lord Supreme Kai? You truly don't know your place!"

"Lord Supreme Kai, there is no need for you to deal with someone like this. Let me teach him a lesson!"

Shin glanced at Kibito and kindly reminded him, "Kibito, if you faced Mr. Son Goku now, you might be knocked down in a single blow."

At those words.

Kibito's body stiffened. Since he had left the Buu Arc too early, he did not know Son Goku's strength. But if Lord Supreme Kai said he was no match for him, then he definitely was no match for him.

Even so, as Lord Supreme Kai's servant, he should not allow a tiny ant to provoke his master!

Kibito's gaze hardened. Staring at Son Goku, he rebuked him, "Mortal! If you want to challenge Lord Supreme Kai, you will have to step over my corpse first!"

Seeing Kibito's loyal defense of his master, Shin covered his mouth and chuckled softly. With a flick of his hand, a mysterious force pulled Kibito back.

"Kibito, calm down. Mr. Son Goku and the others are the heroes who defeated Majin Buu. As a reward for saving the universe, I promised each of them one wish."

"Mr. Son Goku's wish was to spar with me. As Supreme Kai, I cannot go back on my word. Stand down and let me spar with Mr. Son Goku."

At those words.

Though Kibito was still unwilling, he made no further moves. His gaze remained fixed viciously on Son Goku, and Son Goku's impression in his heart had surely fallen to rock bottom.

Shin slowly walked before Son Goku and smiled. "Mr. Son Goku, you may attack me at any time."

Son Goku's expression also turned serious. With an eager smile at the corner of his mouth, he assumed a fighting stance. "Then, Lord Supreme Kai, I'm coming!"

"Please."

Shin gestured with one hand.

"Then here I come!"

With a loud shout, Son Goku attacked Shin in his base form.

Shin wore a faint smile, leisurely dodging. No matter how Son Goku attacked, he could not even touch the edge of Shin's clothes.

Seeing this.

Son Goku chuckled. "Lord Supreme Kai, you really are amazing. Then..."

Son Goku's aura condensed, then the ki around his body erupted fiercely!

Whoosh, whoosh~

Golden energy flared around Son Goku alongside crackling lightning. He transformed directly into Super Saiyan 2!

"Lord Supreme Kai, the second round has begun!" Son Goku warned before attacking again!

But the result was no different from before.

Vegeta watched Son Goku and Shin intently. As a spectator, he could clearly see the gap between them.

Son Goku himself surely understood as well that he was absolutely no match for Shin, yet he still gathered the courage to challenge him!

"Yah, yah, yah!!"

Son Goku relentlessly attacked Shin with punches, kicks, and ki blasts, but Shin remained relaxed, evading every attack as if taking a leisurely stroll.

Seeing this.

Son Goku revealed an excited smile. He clenched his fists and roared as he raised his energy again!

"Yaaahhh!!"

As Son Goku's ki rapidly swelled, his hair began to grow wildly, his brow ridge rose, and the aura around him became terrifying!

Super Saiyan 3 Son Goku stared solemnly at Shin and calmly warned, "Lord Supreme Kai, the third round has begun. This time is completely different from before!"

Shin smiled faintly and gestured with one hand. "Please!"

Son Goku narrowed his eyes, flashed in front of Shin, and threw out his right fist!

Shin calmly raised a single finger and blocked Son Goku's attack!

Seeing that he had finally struck Shin, Son Goku's eyes lit up. He unleashed even faster and fiercer punches and kicks!

Yet Shin remained where he was, effortlessly blocking Son Goku's ferocious attacks with just one finger.

At some point, Kibito came to Vegeta's side and sneered. "That person is your companion, right? He actually dared to challenge Lord Supreme Kai. He truly doesn't know his place. Watch carefully, and see how miserably your companion is defeated!"

Vegeta said coldly, "You don't need to tell me. From the moment this fight began, Kakarot never had any chance of winning."

Kibito asked in confusion, "Then why would he foolishly challenge Lord Supreme Kai?"

Vegeta sneered and explained, "That is the warrior race—the Saiyans!"

Kibito narrowed his eyes and sneered mockingly. "I see. If all you Saiyans are idiots like that one, then it makes sense that you were destroyed."

Vegeta narrowed his eyes, turned his head, and coldly stared at Kibito. His aura faintly surged as he asked in an icy voice, "Do you want to experience a Saiyan's power?"

Feeling the chilling aura emanating from Vegeta, cold sweat beaded on Kibito's forehead. He understood that Vegeta was also a powerful mortal no weaker than Son Goku, and he immediately behaved himself, no longer provoking or mocking him.

Seeing this.

Vegeta snorted coldly, turned back around, and continued watching the battle between Son Goku and Shin... or perhaps it would be more accurate to call it an adult playing with a child.

Son Goku roared and unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks. Finally, seeing that physical attacks were useless, he suddenly stepped back and gathered his ki...

Shin smiled faintly and rose into the air, avoiding the energy wave.
