The Proper Way to Use the Silver Dragon Spear

Jun Xuehan carried the documents and books out of the study and headed straight for his room.

His room was on the eastern side of the rear hall, next door to Hu Liena's. Pushing open the door, he found the entire room clean and tidy. Though it lacked excessive decorations, it had a tranquil feel.

Moreover, the room was fully furnished with everything he might need. Even the bedding on the bed was brand new.

With a light sweep, the fire element within the Silver Dragon Spear scattered in all directions under the enhancement of Soul Power, shooting outward like Fire Rain.

Hu Liena had just walked out of her room with a yawn when she felt a scorching wave of heat rush toward her, sending her hair flying through the air.

Seeing the Fire Rain rushing at her, Hu Liena did not hesitate. She summoned her martial soul, the Demonic Fox. After fusing with it, a fluffy fox tail appeared behind her, while two Fox Ears appeared atop her head, making her seem even more beautiful.

Three soul rings—yellow, yellow, and purple—flashed beneath Hu Liena's feet. Her body moved swiftly as she dodged the incoming Fire Rain. The Fire Rain landed on the grassy ground and instantly ignited it.

Hu Liena's eyes widened at the sight. "Jun Xuehan, what are you doing?! I don't think I've offended you. I just came out, and you immediately attacked me."

Jun Xuehan wore an awkward yet polite smile, but his movements were not slow. The fire element in the Silver Dragon Spear instantly shifted into the Water Element. With a light sweep, droplets fell from the air like rain and extinguished the burning flames.

"Senior Sister, this is just a misunderstanding," Jun Xuehan said as he withdrew the Silver Dragon Spear, his voice carrying a trace of apology.

When he had tested the elements just now, there had been no one in front of him. Who would have thought Hu Liena would suddenly walk out of her room and happen to appear exactly where the Fire Rain fell?

The tail behind Hu Liena swayed continuously as she quietly stared at Jun Xuehan standing before her.

"East, west, north—every direction would have worked. Yet you just had to throw Fire Rain right at my door. I seriously suspect you did it on purpose." Hu Liena narrowed her eyes and pouted slightly, looking deeply displeased.

"Senior Sister, it really was a misunderstanding. I couldn't have gotten up early just to throw a skill at your door, could I?" Jun Xuehan said apologetically. He had acted on a sudden inspiration and had not paid any attention to the direction.

"That makes sense." Hu Liena thought about it. Jun Xuehan had only just arrived at Spirit Hall, and she had been quite friendly toward him. There truly was no reason for him to throw a skill at her door.

"Forget it. Since we've already summoned our martial souls, let's spar. I won't bully you—I'll only use my first two soul rings and won't use my third." Hu Liena looked at Jun Xuehan ahead of her and blinked. An intangible charm rose from her body.
