• The Evil Eye Holy King appeared before Ye Yi outside Spirit City and sacrificed itself to become his soul ring, sealing its power so Ye Yi could withstand it.
• Inside Ye Yi's Spiritual Sea, the Evil Eye Holy King explained that it had fled from a God Realm figure who wanted it to serve as his inheritor's soul ring, and that their lives were now bound together.
• Ye Yi returned to his body and found his Soul Power had increased from level fifteen to level twenty-seven, while his Martial Soul had evolved into a humanoid form.
