Background
Lu Hengzhi is the only son of the chairman of Northern Wasteland Group and the sole heir to the Lu family business. Despite his wealthy upbringing, he does not share the extravagance associated with other wealthy heirs; he is notably frugal and avoids making Tang Shi feel financially inferior. 4 20
His grandparents had him study Peking Opera from the age of six, including martial-role training. He later temporarily quit the class to focus on Dance Miracle, convincingly presenting academic pressure as the reason to his teacher. 8
Lu Hengzhi grew up alongside Tang Shi. Their longstanding bond shapes both his ambitions and choices: he asks Tang Shi to audition with him because he does not dare pursue the opportunity alone, and he consistently tries to remain at Tang Shi's side. 5 18
Appearance
Lu Hengzhi is a tall, broad-shouldered young man with a sunny, fashionable appearance. As he matures, his calm bearing and steady presence distinguish him from other young entertainers. 12 55

- Often presents himself with composed, polished elegance, though he is highly conscious of his image. 52 104
Personality
Lu Hengzhi appears warm, refined, and restrained, but Professor Lin recognizes that he deliberately conceals much of his real personality behind his controlled mannerisms. He accepts criticism with a smile, then firmly states his own position without yielding. 52
He is intensely competitive and determined to excel, whether in dance, acting, producing, or business. Tang Shi's rapid success pushes him to work harder rather than remain complacent, eventually leading him to shift attention toward producing and business management. 18 81 129
Behind his composed exterior, Lu Hengzhi is proud, stubborn, and possessive. He cares deeply about autonomy, resenting publicity or personal arrangements made without his consent. His jealousy becomes apparent whenever others approach Tang Shi romantically, though he is generally patient and attentive toward Tang Shi himself. 18 57 58 105 111
