Uchiha Huan had thought the journey would take a month, but he reached Notting City in only half a month.
He then took up residence at the Spirit Hall Branch Hall in Notting City.
"My lord, this is the list of children from the surrounding villages who awakened Innate Soul Power this year." The branch deacon handed Uchiha Huan a roster.
Though the child before him was young, he carried an Elder Token. He was clearly some Spirit Hall bigshot's kid sent to the countryside to pad his credentials.
Though the deacon did not know his exact background, he was certainly of far higher status than a mere branch deacon like him.
Uchiha Huan took the roster and, sure enough, saw it listed: Holy Soul Village, Tang San, Innate Full Soul Power, Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul.
[Remember this site's domain. Tenten's novels are incredibly practical and easy to read.]
That was right. It seemed he and Tang San really were the same age, though he had awakened half a year earlier than Tang San.
"Get me a map of the area around Notting City," Uchiha Huan said.
"Yes, my lord."
It was not yet enrollment season, so Uchiha Huan had no intention of going to Holy Soul Village to run into Tang Hao just yet.
That Tang Hao was a mad dog, the kind that bit anyone he saw.
Besides, he could also watch Tang Buddha Lord's famous father-recognition scene.
Twenty days later, Notting Elementary Academy began its school term.
At the school gate, two people were being stopped outside. The gatekeeper contemptuously tossed a recommendation letter onto the ground.
"Just a pair of mud-legged peasants, and you expect me to believe one of you awakened Soul Power? And Innate Full Soul Power with Blue Silver Grass, at that? If you're going to forge something, at least put some effort into it."
Tang San picked up the recommendation letter, killing intent flashing in his eyes. His sleeve lifted slightly as he prepared to use his Silent Sleeve Arrow.
This man had earned his death!
Just then, a middle-aged man with a crew cut emerged and walked over to the gatekeeper.
"May I see the recommendation letter?" the middle-aged man asked gently.
Old Jack hurriedly handed Tang San's recommendation letter to the middle-aged man.
The middle-aged man stared at the recommendation letter in his hand. Blue Silver Grass, Innate Full Soul Power!
Every piece of information struck his nerves like a hammer.
The middle-aged man clenched the recommendation letter tightly, his gaze toward Tang San carrying a glimmer of light.
Then he turned to the gatekeeper. "This is the first time, and the last."
Not far away, Uchiha Huan had witnessed the entire scene.
Was that the white moonlight of that crazy woman Bibi Dong?
That crazy woman really had terrible taste.
He watched Yu Xiaogang lead Tang San into the academy by the hand, and watched Yu Xiaogang sweet-talk Tang San into recognizing him as his father.
Uchiha Huan did not interfere with Tang San's opportunity.
After turning to leave, Uchiha Huan took out a map.
Uchiha Huan searched the map, using Holy Soul Village as the center point.
The cave where the Soul Bone and Blue Silver Emperor were hidden was behind a waterfall, and a waterfall would inevitably form a river.
A river... a river...
Uchiha Huan found the river symbol on the map, then followed its line as it stretched into the mountain forest dozens of kilometers beyond Holy Soul Village.
There was no second river marked around Notting City, so he could now trace this river upstream.
Uchiha Huan immediately began moving. Of course, the process was not easy. The banks of many river channels were completely impassable, and Uchiha Huan could not fly, so he could only wade through the river.
After ten days, Uchiha Huan finally arrived before a mountain wall.
The end of the river channel was the waterfall before him, hanging several dozen zhang high.
Fortunately, rock climbing was no challenge for Uchiha Huan, and he had his clone handle the climb anyway.
After spending most of the day, Uchiha Huan's clone finally entered the cave.
At the end of the cave was a small mound of earth. Growing on it was a stalk of Blue Silver Grass with golden veins on its leaves. Directly above it was a hole, through which sunlight fell only at noon.
Tang Hao was still a dog through and through. He coveted his own wife's Spirit Ring and Soul Bone, yet placed her in a place like this. He clearly had no intention of giving his wife any peace.
Uchiha Huan activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, and his consciousness immediately entered the Blue Silver Grass.
On an endless plain of Blue Silver Grass, a blue-haired woman sat on the ground with her arms wrapped around her knees, her face filled with loneliness.
Suddenly, the woman sensed movement behind her and turned to look at Uchiha Huan, this uninvited guest.
She had a flawless, delicate face and a graceful figure. Her eyes held serenity and gentleness, along with a hint of vigilance and unease.
She was the remaining consciousness within the Blue Silver Grass, Ah Yin's manifestation of consciousness.
"Who are you?"
"Tang Hao's enemy," Uchiha Huan said.
Ah Yin became even more uneasy. "What do you want?"
"To take you away, then use you to threaten Tang Hao."
"I will never let you have your way."
Uchiha Huan rolled his eyes. Do you even hear yourself?
I don't need you to let me have my way.
Ah Yin spread her arms, and the Blue Silver Grass across the ground surged toward Uchiha Huan.
Facing the overwhelming tide of Blue Silver Grass, Uchiha Huan stood where he was without budging.
The next instant, black chakra swirled around Uchiha Huan. It formed meridians, flesh, and bones before transforming into a black giant.
Susanoo! In the real world, summoning Susanoo required both chakra and spiritual power to meet the necessary standard.
But in this world of consciousness, sufficient spiritual power alone was enough to summon it.
The black giant extended a massive palm and seized Ah Yin.
"Right now, you do not even have the right to say no."
"Let me go!"
Ah Yin was terrified. She had never encountered such a horrifying enemy.
"Quiet down, Madam. You wouldn't want me to take you before Tang Hao and violate you in front of your husband, would you?"
Ah Yin obediently quieted down, and Uchiha Huan withdrew from the world of consciousness.
He pulled Ah Yin's true body out by the roots and planted it in a small flowerpot.
Then his spiritual power swept through the cave, discovering a hidden compartment in the stone wall in the corner.
He easily found the lead box containing the Soul Bone, then left the cave and tossed the lead box and Blue Silver Grass down to his main body waiting below.
"Today is a good day, everything I wish for comes true..."
Uchiha Huan was in high spirits as he hummed a tune and left.
Next, he just needed to find a quiet place to absorb the Soul Bone.
After some thought, Uchiha Huan decided that going to the city would cause too much commotion. Soul Masters came and went frequently in Soul Hunting Forest as well, and who knew when someone might interrupt him.
An ordinary mountain forest was therefore ideal. Though ordinary mountain forests also had soul beasts, their numbers were extremely scarce.
After leaving the waterfall, Uchiha Huan traveled deeper into the mountains for another day.
Suddenly, Uchiha Huan sensed fluctuations of Soul Power ahead.
What a coincidence. Could he really encounter a soul beast or Soul Master here?
Curious, Uchiha Huan followed the Soul Power fluctuations.
He stopped before a cave and sensed the aura within.
It was not strong, only around the level of a One-Ring Soul Master.
Uchiha Huan poked his head in for a look.
Inside, he saw a girl wearing rabbit-ear ornaments, sitting cross-legged in the cave.
Light radiated from her body, forming a diagram of meridians outside her body. But the diagram was not human-shaped—it was shaped like a rabbit.
