Encounter in the Forest

Uchiha Huan took the map Old Jin had given him and hurried all the way to the Star Dou Great Forest.

After arriving at Soul-Hunting Town near the entrance to the Star Dou Great Forest by the Jingyang Mountain Range, Uchiha Huan decided to rest there for the night.

He found another hotel and was in the middle of checking in when Jing Hongchen, Xiao Hongchen, and Meng Hongchen entered right after him.

Then the receptionist said, "Sorry, the three of you, but we don't have three vacant rooms. There's only one room left."

"Grandpa, why are all the hotels here fully booked?" Meng Hongchen complained unhappily.

Jing Hongchen looked at Uchiha Huan beside him. "Little brother, are you checking in here too?"

Uchiha Huan turned to look at Jing Hongchen. "Yes."

"Could you give your room to us? I can pay you ten times the room rate."

"No."

"One hundred Gold Soul Coins," Jing Hongchen said.

Uchiha Huan silently filled out the registration form and handed it to the receptionist.

The receptionist hesitated slightly. He was rather interested in Jing Hongchen's offer of one hundred Gold Soul Coins.

So he did not want to process Uchiha Huan's registration.

Seeing the receptionist's expression, Uchiha Huan knew exactly what he was thinking.

Three tomoe appeared in his eyes, and the receptionist's expression turned blank. Then, without any expression, he completed Uchiha Huan's check-in.

"What a brilliant Genjutsu."

Jing Hongchen was slightly surprised. He naturally saw that the receptionist had fallen under Genjutsu.

Yet this little fellow had not revealed any Spirit Rings, so he had clearly used a self-created soul skill.

There really were many geniuses on the Douluo Continent.

Uchiha Huan descended from the sky. Every few hundred kilometers, he had to land and recover his soul power before continuing to fly. After two days, he finally entered the Mixed Zone.

However, after reaching the Mixed Zone, Uchiha Huan stopped flying.

Flying through the Mixed Zone was just asking for trouble.

The Outer Zone was like a kindergarten to him, but after entering the Mixed Zone, even he had no choice but to proceed cautiously.

With his current soul power level and density, flying a few hundred kilometers was still effortless.

After walking for less than half a day, Uchiha Huan suddenly saw a black wolf blocking his path.

A Shadowless Wolf, at least thirty thousand years old.

Encountering a high-year Spirit Beast that was not one's target during a hunt was quite a headache.

Especially a troublesome Spirit Beast like the Shadowless Wolf.
