History

Growing persecution

At the Nanga Shrine assembly, Uchiha You presented this evidence alongside Root's watch list of core clan members and children, including Sasuke Uchiha. The revelation convinced much of the clan that passive endurance was no longer viable. 27

Fugaku approved Uchiha You's four-part plan for covert alertness, evacuation, combat-squad formation, and retaliatory action only if Konoha struck first. 28

Eye seizure and consolidation

Danzo attempted to seize Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan at a secluded training ground. Uchiha You and other clan witnesses intervened, defeated Root's accompanying operatives, and exposed Danzo's actions. Shisui's testimony led to Danzo's arm being sealed after Uchiha You crippled it. 31 32 34
