Advancing to Dou Zhe

After spending an entire day with Yafei, little Nalan Yanran had naturally just been an add-on.

When they parted, Li Chenfeng told Yafei that he would be condensing a Qi Cyclone and advancing to Dou Zhe soon, so he probably would not be able to keep her company for the next few days.

At that moment, the faint Dou Qi within his meridians moved at his will, swiftly wrapping around the powerful, pure medicinal energy that had entered his body before beginning to refine it frantically.

His brows knitted slightly. The collision between the two energies within his body sent waves of stabbing pain through his meridians, making Li Chenfeng far less composed than he appeared.

Fortunately, his meridians were much tougher than those of ordinary people. Though he felt some pain, it would not cause him any serious harm for the time being.

Within the unseen meridians, Dou Qi tightly wrapped around clumps of pure green energy. As Li Chenfeng refined it frantically, green energy was continuously assimilated into pale white Dou Qi. With this additional support, the amount of Dou Qi within Li Chenfeng's body expanded at a visibly rapid pace.

However, Qi-Gathering Powder was ultimately a Fourth-grade Medicinal Pill. Though the pure medicinal energy was constantly being refined, it seemed inexhaustible. Whenever Dou Qi refined one clump of medicinal energy, an even larger clump of green energy would rush forward.

With the internal refinement and the continuous influx of external Dou Qi, the Dou Qi in Li Chenfeng's body had gradually filled most of his meridians.

The refinement continued. At a certain moment, Li Chenfeng discovered that the Dou Qi in his body had expanded to a critical point where it could no longer increase.

The swelling Dou Qi caused Li Chenfeng's meridians to twitch faintly. Intense pain assaulted his mind, even slightly distorting his handsome features.
