Yuan Ming smiled and nodded lightly. There was no sense of unfamiliarity between him and the hulking Xian Jue; getting along with him was remarkably easy.
As soon as he finished speaking, his indifferent gaze slowly turned toward the several trembling early-stage Tribulation Transcendence Realm foreign cultivators. He said softly, "Fellow Daoists, are you still staying here because you wish to sit down and discuss the Dao together?"
"Fellow Daoist, pardon the disturbance!"
"Mountains stand high and rivers run long. We shall discuss the Dao another day."
"We will not trouble you two Fellow Daoists any longer. We shall take our leave."
The several foreign Heavenly Venerables wore solemn expressions as an enormous aerial artifact appeared in an instant. Their somewhat flustered movements carried an oddly taut sense of composure, yet they still maintained the bearing of Heavenly Venerables.
Then they left without looking back, as though they had made some sort of firm resolve...
At this moment, the surroundings were utterly empty. Xian Jue and Yuan Ming resumed their conversation. Within the perilous Immortal Azure Plain, they acted as though they were merely in their own backyard.
Xian Jue finally learned what Yuan Ming had secretly been doing all these years. He had apparently been building up a force within the Star Pivot, while Ji Yan had poured immense financial resources into it.
Yet an institution like the All-Heavens Myriad Realms Spirit Bank was far beyond what the Nine-Heavens Immortal Alliance was qualified to approach. The Star Pivot connected the entire Three Thousand Great Worlds; it was vast and boundless within, with far too many novel things to see.
As for why Yuan Ming had become so powerful, he did not say much. He only said that he had obtained some opportunities within the Star Pivot.
