Iron Man abruptly opened her eyes and found herself back in the sect somehow.
The white fog around her had grown even denser, while a massive celestial body hung in the sky. The irregular, oval-shaped body burned silently overhead, giving off a light that carried little warmth.
The surroundings had become colder and gloomier, and fine snow kept falling.
But upon contact, Iron Man discovered it was not snow at all, but some kind of biological tissue resembling dandelion fluff.
It was harmless enough if one was uninjured, but if there was a wound, the fine snow would continuously invade it and merge with the body.
"Junior Sister, it's time you woke up."
Struggling to her feet, Iron Man found that there was not a single patch of uninjured flesh left on her body.
The violent impact had covered her in wounds. The worst was a gash across her back, from which black blood flowed.
Though severely injured, she could not feel any pain.
The fine snow continued to fall. The white flakes melted into her wounds, making them glow with a faint blue phosphorescence as they healed her injuries.
Looking around, she found that Senior Sister was completely unharmed, while half of Senior Brother's head had vanished.
Despite losing half his head, he was somehow still alive.
Countless wounds sprawled across Senior Brother's body like giant centipedes, while his face had completely melted away. His eyelids were gone, exposing the pale eyeballs beneath.
Without half his head, Senior Brother had become even more silent. He looked like a failed wax figure, giving off an unsettling, eerie air.
