There were still twenty-four hours until the competition ended.
In Clear Spring City, Hei's team looked at the current data and felt as though the sky had fallen again and again.
The enormous conference room was deathly silent. Countless Dream Makers stared fixedly at the ranking Illusion floating in the air, only rubbing their eyes when they became too dry.
To suppress Chen Yu's momentum, Hei had acquired most of Thunder Network's shares, spending a massive amount of liquid capital in the process.
Without liquid capital, their traffic-buying efforts elsewhere had almost completely stopped.
However, if Thunder Network could serve as their promotional base, there would be no problem. It would even be better.
But the problem now was that Thunder Network had shut down.
The website still had not recovered, and the supporting traffic-buying campaigns could not proceed either. Every time they called, the other side said repairs were underway, but no one knew when they would be finished.
Meanwhile, the other side said they had fired a batch of useless maintenance workers, and new repair personnel would soon be in place. Once they got rid of those useless White Feather people, the new Thunder Network would only become better.
But whenever the Dream Makers demanded a definite answer, the other side always evaded the question and offered no useful guarantees.
They had refreshed the website hundreds and thousands of times, but every time they saw the same icy message: [Thunder Network is being restored. Please do not leave. We have already sacrificed the maintenance workers to the heavens.]
After being questioned too many times, Thunder Network's executives also felt wronged.
They had clearly fired those wicked, utterly useless maintenance workers, so why had the platform not automatically recovered?
Wasn't the platform supposed to grow back on its own?
