After Du Busi revealed that he had become a Level 99 Limit Douluo, Xuan Zi took the injured Han Ruoruo back to Shrek Academy, leaving the rest of the Shrek Team behind. The Masked Douluo then led Holy Spirit Cult Evil Soul Masters in an attack that killed the team and took the unconscious Ma Xiaotao.

• Xuan Zi realized Du Busi had reached Level 99 and decided to return to Shrek Academy with Han Ruoruo to report the danger.
• The Masked Douluo shifted the Evil Soul Masters’ target from Ye Guyi to the Shrek Team after Xuan Zi left.

After Ye An revealed that he knew about the life gold, the Golden Tortoiseshell offered to let him remove it.

• Zhang Lexuan sensed a Soul Beast underground, and a Golden Tortoiseshell burst from the earth in front of her and Ye An.

The Seven Elemental Gods discovered Ye An and, angered by Tang San’s concealment of the lower realm’s aura, set off to confront him. The God of Destruction revealed that he had deliberately provoked them and hoped Ye An would inherit both his and the Goddess of Life’s godhoods, possibly along with all seven Elemental Gods’ godhoods.

• The God of Space accused Tang San of breaking Divine Realm rules and led the Seven Elemental Gods toward Tang San’s residence.
• The Water God suggested bringing Ye An to the Divine Realm so he could choose whether to inherit the Seven Elemental Gods’ godhoods.

After failing to find a suitable hundred-thousand-year soul beast, Ye An and Zhang Lexuan left the Star Dou Great Forest. There, Fan Yu and He Caitou mistook the pair for a threat, and He Caitou wondered whether Zhang Lexuan belonged to the Sun Moon Imperial Family.

• Ye An and Zhang Lexuan searched the forest's Mixed Area without finding a hundred-thousand-year soul beast and decided to leave rather than venture into the Core Area.
• Fan Yu brought He Caitou into the forest to find a third soul ring suited to his cigar martial soul, explaining that a defensive ability would best complement his existing skills.

Ye An killed Fan Yu and He Caitou after Fan Yu attacked him and Zhang Lexuan, then continued toward the Ice Sea. At Shrek Academy, the losses of Fan Yu and Bei Bei left Yan Shaozhe overwhelmed and Mu En grieving the extinction of his lineage.

• Ye An revealed He Caitou's identity as Xu He, the former Sun Moon Empire crown prince, and decided to kill him and Fan Yu.
