"Leon, I think now is the right time."

After picking up the call, Mark said exactly that.

After replying to Mark, the two agreed to meet at Mark's house tomorrow night and storm The Hand's headquarters directly.

Leon hung up Mark's call with a chuckle. For the moment, he had no desire to keep wandering around. He dismissed his clones and prepared to head back to sleep.

As usual, while receiving his clones' memories, Leon spotted an acquaintance through one clone's perspective.

"Well, well, well... what a small world! Should I say the Big Apple is too small, or that there are simply too many heroes and criminals around here?"

After giving it some thought, there was nothing surprising about it. Going by the comic-book plots, on average, every street in the Big Apple probably had several superheroes stationed there, along with criminals outnumbering the heroes several times over.

The best part was that whenever you cleaned up a bad guy, after a while, a new one would respawn!

How magical!

Once Leon thought that through, he stopped finding it strange. This world lacked everything except superheroes and supervillains!

Students, office workers, shop owners, researchers, capitalists, salaried workers, delivery drivers—who knew what their real identities might be!

You could even find a superhero buried in the dirt, out at sea, or inside some huge block of ice from seventy or eighty years ago!

Since they were both night workers, it was hardly strange that Leon had only run into one or two colleagues so far.

"Sigh, surviving in this world, even having cheats doesn't guarantee you'll win! Ordinary people really have it rough!"

Leon's sentiment was entirely justified. Some people had cheats, some found treasures, some mutated, and some were simply chosen by fate!

Like Adam...

He still needed to
