There was not a trace of regret in the Sage of Six Paths' voice. For someone like him, once a decision was made, there was no room for further doubt.
Even without Gamamaru, they would have made the same choice if they had discovered the truth. They simply would have been far more likely to fail.
"Is that so... Unfortunately, I can't trust others the way you do. But I'll try. All right, that's everything. You can leave now," Uchiha Shunichi said, waving a hand.
Being dismissed the moment he had outlived his usefulness, the Sage of Six Paths could only smile helplessly.
