"This is a very interesting document. It seems you've already returned to the future." Urashiki Ōtsutsuki accepted the document, a deeply interested smile appearing on his face.
Uchiha Shunichi knew perfectly well that Urashiki Ōtsutsuki was hinting at their agreement, but he acted as though he had not heard it.
It was not that he intended to break his word; he simply had no intention of releasing Urashiki Ōtsutsuki right now.

Seeing that Uchiha Shunichi did not react, Urashiki Ōtsutsuki did not take the opportunity to make any demands. With his life and death resting on someone else's whim, how could he dare offend him?

As for why this report was never sent back, I suppose Kaguya herself never intended to contact the Ōtsutsuki main family." Urashiki Ōtsutsuki smiled as he explained to Uchiha Shunichi.
"Is that so? Teach me the Ōtsutsuki Clan's writing..." Uchiha Shunichi said flatly.
The ruins of Kaguya's palace were worth visiting when he had the time. Perhaps he could find something quite interesting there.

When Uchiha Shunichi returned to the past, however, Kaguya had already ruled that world for who knew how long.
"No problem. Actually, you should be able to make out some of this writing yourself..." Urashiki Ōtsutsuki answered readily.
Sure enough, after just over an hour, Uchiha Shunichi had learned most of the Ōtsutsuki Clan's writing.
Having accomplished the purpose of his trip, Uchiha Shunichi said, "Don't worry, but don't get too impatient either. I'll release you, just not now."
Upon suddenly hearing such frank words from Uchiha Shunichi, Urashiki Ōtsutsuki gave a bitter smile.
