But once he learned that the big-breasted woman before him was about to become Hokage, Naruto found it hard to accept.
Influenced by Sarutobi Hiruzen, Naruto Uzumaki had always yearned for the position of Hokage. Even though he had faced hostility from many people throughout his childhood, revenge had never been on Naruto's mind.
Revenge naturally required some emotion to serve as a catalyst. Having grown up under Sarutobi Hiruzen's influence, Naruto could no longer understand what revenge meant.
When faced with those hostile stares, all he felt was confusion.

Before he could make a move, however, Jiraiya reached out and pulled him back.
"Calm down, Naruto!" Jiraiya watched the scene with some amusement.
"I don't care who you are. You dared insult the Hokage, and I absolutely won't forgive you!" Naruto was burning with rage, having completely forgotten what Jiraiya had once told him.
