After resting for who knew how long, Su Mengyao finally recovered and slowly rose from the sofa.
"Come on, the sooner we finish, the sooner we can rest."
Though the words sounded full of vigor, coming from Su Mengyao, they somehow gave him the illusion that she was about to collapse.
"If you're still tired, you should rest first." Mo Xiangwen looked at her worriedly. "Mengli and I can sort things out first."
"Mm, it's fine." Su Mengyao paused briefly, then shook her head. "You're both working. How can I rest by myself?"
"Forget it, it's not exactly physical labor anyway." Su Mengli knew her younger sister's temperament well. Shaking her head, she said, "If you get tired later, Mengyao, don't force yourself. Just sit down and rest by the side."
"Okay~" Su Mengyao replied, drawing out the last syllable.
And so, the work of unpacking delivery boxes and organizing the room officially began.
Unpacking delivery boxes was supposed to be enjoyable, after all. The things one had been waiting for had finally arrived.
But once there were too many boxes, whether moving them or opening them became a burden.
"Wait, don't open them yet." Su Mengli suddenly stopped them.
Hearing this, Mo Xiangwen and Su Mengyao immediately looked at her in confusion.
Su Mengli explained, "There's too much stuff. Let's put the tables together first. We can place some of the smaller items directly on them, so we won't have to search everywhere and fail to find things later."
Putting the tables together did not mean assembling brand-new tables from parts. It meant arranging these tables together according to their plan.
Mo Xiangwen thought about it and found that reasonable. Su Mengli really was more meticulous than him.
