Su Mengli nodded and joined him at a table near the door. The two sat facing each other.
No sooner had he sat down than Mo Xiangwen spotted a cake shop not far outside the door.
After hesitating for a moment, he gave Su Mengli an apologetic smile. "Sorry, I'll be gone for a little while."
The fried chicken was fine, but the barbecue and pizza seemed like they would take quite a while.
Su Mengli was slightly taken aback, then nodded with a smile. "Don't worry about me. If you have something to do, go ahead."
"Yeah, I'll be right back."
After saying goodbye to Su Mengli, he quickly got up, pushed open the door, and walked out.
After only a few steps, he arrived in front of the cake shop.
He had happened to hear people in his class talk about this shop before. Apparently, the food tasted pretty good.
But since he did not have a habit of eating desserts, he had never come here.
He pushed open the glass door and entered the shop.
"Hello, welcome."
Seeing him enter, the waitress gave a slight bow in greeting.

The cake shop had many different varieties, from cakes and egg tarts to bread.
And judging by their appearance, they really did look quite nice.
No wonder so many students came here to buy things.
He looked around for a while. He had originally wanted to buy a small cake, but remembering that they were about to have dinner together, he hesitated before choosing a small dessert instead.

He had heard that most girls liked desserts, but he had no idea whether Su Mengli liked cream puffs.
