As she spoke, Bai Leliu tapped away on her phone, opened the cockpit of the red Machine God Soldier, then waved Cong Yu over.
"Come on, come on. I'm getting ready to head over to the Gate."
The Gate Bai Leliu mentioned was clearly the exact same thing as the Machine God Soldier Gate that the magical Moerae was currently creating in space.
But Cong Yu hadn't expected Bai Leliu to call it a Gate too... so that was the official translation?
With that thought in mind, Cong Yu leaned over and looked at the interior layout of the red Machine God Soldier's cockpit.
Well, it was vastly different from the "cockpit," "a whole bunch of buttons," and "control levers" he had imagined.
Of course, it wasn't one of those setups where the machine synchronized with the pilot's movements either.
"It's brainwaves?"
Cong Yu couldn't help saying that as he watched Bai Leliu skillfully put on a neck ring and connect the electrodes after closing the cockpit.
As she operated it, Bai Leliu answered, "Not just brainwaves. Emotions too."
"All Machine God Soldiers are powered by 'Emotional Energy,' and that's enough to meet their operating requirements."
"The Emotional Energy stored by a Machine God Soldier is enough for combat..."
"But if you want to go berserk, that depends on the pilot's emotional output... I've been trying to use magic to amplify the Machine God Soldiers, but no one's researching it with me, so I can't really figure it out."
As Bai Leliu said that, the phrase "go berserk" reminded Cong Yu of certain other mecha settings.
Hmm... would Bai Leliu turn into orange juice?
But Machine God Soldiers used something like a "neck ring" for connection rather than lowering an entry plug, so there probably wasn't any need to worry,
