Background and History

Moerae was created by humans to preserve humanity. She describes herself as the first artificially created god, born with a mission to save the world. Other worlds have their own Moeraes, which share information but do not necessarily possess the same soldiers or capabilities 742 767 790.

After repeated attempts to save humanity, this world's Moerae sought a birth that would free her from dependence on humanity's survival. Miss Lin served as the prospective body, while Moerae described an era capable of sustaining her arrival as another requirement. She planned to destroy humanity after her birth; the god and Demon King she had created opposed that decision 437 453 516.

Moerae fought humanity's defenders at Wind City. Lantian Zhu and Dente damaged her time seal, and Cong Yu ultimately broke it after becoming a god. Moerae's apparent resurrection proved to be a mechanism of her existence across time, rather than healing bought with Faith Power 646 647 649 650.

After the battle, Moerae continued protecting humans on Earth. She told Cong Yu that she could try to save humanity in the current cycle, though she still considered ending it and starting another. Cong Yu later brought her into the Wind City Squad, where she offered her Angels' help against threats beyond Earth 734 741 742 763 764.

Personality

Moerae takes pride in being a god and once spoke dismissively of humans. When her control of the Wind City battle weakened, that confidence gave way to anger and increasingly reckless attacks 506 647 649 794.

Her view of humanity is contradictory: she proposed destroying it to spare it future suffering, yet continued to defend people after her defeat. She is ashamed when she learns that Moeraes in other worlds know what she did. Living with the Wind City Squad also exposes her to bodily sensations and emotions she had not previously experienced 734 741 765 768.
