"How about this? Since this is my first time meeting everyone, let me treat you all to a meal," Chen Chongwen suggested. "I know an old restaurant near the school that makes excellent food. Let's all go try it tonight and chat while we eat."

"No need. We can just go to the cafeteria together. That still counts as getting together, and there's no need to waste money," Zhou Guosheng quickly said, and the others readily agreed.

Chen Chongwen smiled. "Since you don't want to, forget it. Another day, then." He stood and began making his bed, but his movements were somewhat clumsy. It was obvious he rarely did housework at home.

"Chongwen, you haven't done much housework, have you? Let me help." Zhou Guosheng stepped forward, ready to help fold the bedding.

But Chen Chongwen waved him off. "No need. I'll do it myself. Staying in a dorm at university can count as experiencing life." With that, he began folding it on his own.

Xue Chen sat on the single bed across from them, silently watching without any intention of helping. It was not that he did not care; he was thinking about Chen Chongwen. He found the man somewhat strange. His behavior felt overly awkward, and from his eyes, Xue Chen could tell that he did not usually like getting close to others.

But it was only a minor interlude, and Xue Chen quickly put it out of his mind. Once they had finished unpacking, they left the dorm together and headed for the cafeteria.
