It was not that he was truly worried something had happened to Xiao Chou. He was afraid this might be another smokescreen, with someone hiding behind the scenes and plotting something.
The problems surrounding him had not even been completely resolved yet. If something else came up, he might not be able to bear it.
Qi Wang understood what Qi Si was worried about and replied, "We've searched everywhere we could, and we're still sending people out to look. But I don't think he can cause much trouble anymore."
"Why are you so sure, bro?"
Qi Wang explained, "I checked the assets under his name. He donated every movable asset he had, and he transferred all the shares held under Xiao Corporation to you. The shares aren't much, and even if he kept them in Xiao Corporation, they couldn't stir up much trouble. But he really gave them up just like that."
"Why? Why would he do that? And... why give the shares to me?" This was what Qi Si found hardest to understand.
He already had more than enough shares. Xiao Chou's little portion would not make any difference to him at all.
