When A Si regained consciousness again, he was surprised to find that the endless darkness before him was gone.
I didn't disappear?
A Si was puzzled.

A Si looked down at his body in alarm, only to see nothing at all.

What's going on? Where's my body? Don't tell me I'm just a head now?
In the span of a few seconds, no fewer than ten horrifying possibilities flashed through A Si's mind.
That was until he heard several familiar yet unfamiliar voices nearby.
A Si wondered if he had misheard.
Why did he seem to hear his own voice?
Yet it also sounded slightly different. This voice sounded more mature than his own.
Then, the conversation between that voice and another voice left him even more confused.
"Are you sure it worked? Why isn't there any reaction at all?"
"I'm sure. All the data meets the standards. There's nothing wrong with the experiment."
"Then why isn't there any reaction?"
"Don't rush. Let's study it some more."
Several more unfamiliar voices sounded afterward. They spoke of terms he could not understand at all, along with some technical jargon.
A Si had no idea what they were talking about, but for some reason, he felt like these people were very impressive.
It was just that what they said was far too hypnotic. The longer A Si listened, the sleepier he became.
In the end, he actually drifted off without realizing it.
The next time he woke up, it was because of the noise.
There were so many voices buzzing around his ears that his head hurt.
