A Few Words

The original Jujutsu Kaisen storyline is about to come to an end. What follows will be an extended story based on the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.

I struggled quite a bit with the earlier chapters. On one hand, I wanted to make up for the regrets left by the original work as much as possible; on the other, my lack of control over the pacing made the writing pretty poor.

As for the protagonist's characterization, I actually had quite a few chapters drafted at the beginning, but most of them simply copied and altered the original plot.

After reading comments on other Jujutsu Kaisen fanfics, I realized that people were rather put off by too much of the original plot, so I started cutting things down, which left many events unexplored. After cutting the plot, the protagonist's lines became inexplicable, so I made major revisions afterward. Clearly, they failed. The pacing became chaotic in many places, to the point that I failed to establish the protagonist properly.

The later arcs will place greater emphasis on developing the protagonist, and I will also work to control the pacing properly. This may cause the protagonist's words and actions to differ somewhat from before, and I hope everyone can understand.
