The ranks of knights and mages in this world were as follows—

Mage ranks: Beginner, Intermediate Rank, Advanced Rank, Great Mage, Chief Mage, Archmage, Archmage, Archmage, Archmage.

The best character offered by the Seven-Day Login only had seventh-rank Archmage Aptitude.

He moved his gaze to the final interface, the Attribute Panel for the game character, which currently recorded his attributes:

Someone knocked on the door.

Luo Ning withdrew his gaze from the map and cleared his throat. "Come in."

The door was pushed open, and a middle-aged man dressed in a butler's formal attire entered. He bowed politely to Luo Ning.

"Holwart greets Young Master!"

Although Luo Ning had been stripped of his Right of Inheritance, he was still of Wushan Family blood and remained a noble.

Holwart was the butler of the Marquis's Manor. Though he held a certain position, he was ultimately a servant, and his respect for his master was beyond reproach.

"What is it, Mr. Holwart?"

The butler stepped forward, placed the box in his hands on Luo Ning's table, and said politely:

"Young Master, this is the Letter of Appointment the master just wrote. He asked me to bring it to you. He also asked me to tell you that he hopes you will depart for Mountain Forest Town within two days."

Luo Ning's brow twitched. His Previous Self's father truly could not wait for him to leave.

He opened the box and unfolded the Letter of Appointment, which detailed the appointment.

"Huh? Why is my surname missing from my name?" Luo Ning asked.

At the name section of the Letter of Appointment, he saw only the two words "Luo Ning." The surname "Wushan" had not been written down, leaving the space blank.

"The master said that once you become independent, you may have your own surname. If you have not decided on one, you may leave it blank for now. Once you have chosen, simply fill it in, inform him, and register it."

Luo Ning sneered inwardly.
