"You three, buy me ten seconds!"
Kingpin spoke to the few remaining bodyguards beside him, then held out his right hand and immediately began turning his fist to steel.
In the blink of an eye, Kingpin's fist had become an iron fist.
But for Kingpin, that was nowhere near enough.
That woman and that blind old man were far too formidable. Their fighting skills vastly exceeded the limits of ordinary people.
Kingpin had to kill with one blow!
He had to heat up his fist!
Kingpin began controlling his ability, continuously heating his fist.
During this time, the two remaining bodyguards beside him kept pulling their triggers at Stick and Elektra, firing bullet after bullet.
Even Wesley, the refined gentleman, pulled out a gun and joined the effort to resist Stick and his disciple Elektra.
No matter how skilled the two were, they were still flesh and blood and feared bullets just the same. Both ducked behind nearby cover.
They were temporarily suppressed.
But only temporarily.
Because bullets would eventually run out—and quickly, at that. How many rounds could a gun hold?
But the blades in their opponents' hands would not rust anytime soon.
Besides, they did not need to wait until the bullets ran out to kill them.
A flash of cold light streaked through the air. Elektra suddenly poked her head out, and the short blade in her hand turned into a gleaming streak that pierced straight through a bodyguard's chest.
What?
The other bodyguard was stunned. He instinctively glanced at his companion. Throwing knives?
Wasn't that too ridiculous?
But that moment of distraction was fatal. Another short blade shot over and pierced through his chest as well.
By now, aside from Kingpin and Wesley, everyone else had been completely killed by Stick and Elektra.
And Wesley's bullets were quickly exhausted too.
"Out of bullets?"
Elektra stepped out from behind cover with a cold smile.
She casually pulled her short blade from a corpse and twirled it in her hand.
Stick likewise held a longsword as he charged toward them like a demon.
"Looks like we've reached this point after all."
Kingpin's deep voice rang out. He stepped forward, came to Wesley's side, and stared at Stick and Elektra as he spoke in a grave voice.
By then, his fist was already glowing red-hot, radiating scorching heat!
At this point, there was no path left but to fight!
The two stared resolutely at the approaching old-and-young pair. They understood that life and death would be decided in this one battle.
"What's going on with your fist?"
Elektra's surprised, baffled voice rang out. She stared at Kingpin's fist and asked the question.
That fist was actually glowing!
What kind of fist was that?
"Elektra, what's going on? I can sense a powerful energy." Stick could not help asking from the side.
"His fist is glowing, like... a red-hot iron bar," Elektra said gravely to Stick.
She had thought that the two culprits behind Matt's death were fish on the chopping block, but now Elektra felt things might not go so smoothly.
"A glowing fist?"
Elektra did not understand what was happening, but Stick's heart suddenly stirred.
A glowing fist... Could this man be... Iron Fist?
Had a new Iron Fist emerged?
"Iron Fist?" Stick could not help asking aloud.
"Obviously."
Kingpin glanced at his steel fist in its high-temperature state and answered as if it were only natural.
A fist turned to steel was an iron fist, wasn't it?
"If you don't leave now, I'll smash your heads open with my iron fist!" Kingpin shouted viciously at Stick and Elektra.
If his fist could successfully scare the two of them away, that would naturally be for the best.
"Forget Iron Fist. Even if it were a titanium fist, so what? No one can save you!" Elektra snorted coldly and charged directly at Kingpin.
She did not realize that the Iron Fist Stick and Kingpin were referring to were entirely different things.
Seeing this, Kingpin stopped wasting words. He swung his red-hot fist and charged at Elektra as well.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Taking advantage of the moment, Wesley picked up a gun from the ground and frantically pulled the trigger at Elektra.
Elektra temporarily abandoned Kingpin and instead charged at Wesley.
As for Stick, he began fighting Kingpin.
Kingpin was actually very strong. Though barehanded, his fists were steel—and red-hot steel at that. For a time, he and Stick traded blows back and forth.
The fight was extremely fierce.
But Stick no longer had any intention to kill.
He did not want to kill Kingpin anymore.
Because Iron Fist was a powerful weapon against the Hand!
As Stick fought Kingpin, he was now more interested in testing just how capable this new Iron Fist was.
It had to be said, his strength was decent. His style was just somewhat different from K'un-Lun's.
While Stick was fighting Kingpin, Elektra had already rushed in front of Wesley.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Wesley fired at Elektra again and again.
Unfortunately, as a handsome young man had once said, guns were weapons for inferior men. At such close range, a gun could not display its proper advantage at all.
Elektra darted left and right in place like an agile cat, successfully appearing before Wesley.
A short blade pierced directly through Wesley's heart.
Wesley's entire body jolted, as though someone had pressed pause on him.
Clatter.
The gun in his hand fell to the ground.
"Killing you like this is letting you off too easily!"
Elektra pulled back her short blade and spoke with utter coldness.
Wesley's eyes and mouth were wide open, and he looked utterly unwilling to accept it.
Using every last bit of strength in his body, he suddenly reached out and grabbed Elektra.
"At a time like this, what can you still do?"
Elektra sneered disdainfully.
But at that very moment, a bullet shot from Wesley's fingertip and struck directly into Elektra's chest.
Blood spattered out.
"What the hell?"
Elektra instinctively raised her short blade again and slashed off Wesley's head. Then she dropped weakly to her knees.
At that moment, she had only one thought in her mind: what the hell had just happened?
How had she been shot?
"Wesley!"
"Elektra!"
Two shouts rang out at once. Kingpin and Stick, who had been fighting nearby, each rushed over almost immediately.
One rushed sorrowfully to Wesley's corpse, while the other hurried anxiously to Elektra.
