Rosha could not help but freeze for a moment.

Hadn't the Mutant school always been named after Professor X, Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters?

When had it been renamed after Phoenix?

Could it be...

In an instant of realization, Rosha completely understood everything.

The X-Men film series had an older trilogy, as well as a younger trilogy starring James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. The second film of the younger trilogy was Days of Future Past.

It was in that film that the future Wolverine traveled through time, destroyed the Sentinels, and stopped Magneto from killing the president, thereby changing the original course of events!

As a result, all the stories from the older trilogy no longer existed!

In the reset timeline, Magneto had joined the X-Men in stopping Apocalypse and saving all humanity. He was no longer a wanted criminal and had successfully gone into seclusion.

Professor X, meanwhile, had managed through his unceasing efforts to make ordinary human society accept Mutants!

The X-Men were even highly popular!

When astronauts encountered trouble in outer space, even the president would personally call Professor X and ask him to carry out a rescue.

It was during that rescue that an unknown force entered Phoenix's body, drawing the D'Bari to Earth.

The D'Bari leader, the woman called J-Law, fanned the flames in order to obtain the power within Phoenix, causing Phoenix to fall into darkness.

Of course, at the most critical moment, Phoenix still "came to her senses" and joined forces with Professor X, Magneto, and the others against the D'Bari.

In the end, Phoenix killed J-Law, the D'Bari leader, but sacrificed her own life as well.

That was precisely why Xavier's School had been renamed Jean Grey School in memory of Phoenix.

Professor X had also successfully retired.

He and Magneto had gone on to live a life of drinking tea and playing chess together.

But that had happened many years ago. Now, it seemed that Professor X had most likely returned to the Mutant school.

In Deadpool, Professor X had indeed been at the Mutant school when Deadpool was brought there by Colossus and the others.

And that Professor X really had been James McAvoy.

Looking at it this way...

The Marvel world Rosha had transmigrated into had already gone through Days of Future Past and reset the Mutant timeline!

In this world, the relationship between Mutants and humans was nowhere near as fraught. Human society had largely accepted Mutants.

Though there were still people who hated and even regarded Mutants as enemies, acceptance of Mutants was politically correct in the social mainstream.

The plot of Deadpool supported that as well.

Colossus, Negasonic, and the other X-Men all carried out missions openly.

In other words, this world no longer had sharp conflict between Mutants and humans, nor did it have Magneto leading Mutants in causing trouble everywhere!

This was a brand-new era for Mutants.

Rosha quickly sorted everything out.

No wonder he had always felt that Mutants had such a low presence in this world ever since his rebirth.

It turned out everyone was already used to them and broadly accepted them.

Naturally, they would no longer attract the attention of the entire public.

For Rosha, that was a good thing. At the very least, society would not be so chaotic.

As his thoughts ran wild, the wind chime by the door rang again, interrupting Rosha's train of thought.

A woman with a stunning figure and an icy expression walked into the shop.

Rosha looked up and swept his gaze over her, then paused slightly.

This woman looked so familiar. She was definitely a character from the plot as well...

Elektra!

Rosha quickly recognized who this woman was.

She was none other than Daredevil's childhood sweetheart, the Black Sky the Hand had been desperately searching for, and Stick's disciple, Elektra.

Rosha could not help feeling excited.

Elektra was no ordinary woman. A million dollars should not be a problem for her. She was a potential high-quality customer.

Rosha swiftly came to that conclusion.

"Welcome to my shop!"

Thinking that, Rosha did not delay and politely ushered Elektra inside.

"Thank you!"

Elektra gave Rosha a faint smile and nodded, while inconspicuously surveying her surroundings.

Ever since that battle the other night, Elektra had been unable to let go of Wesley's ability to fire bullets from his hands, so she had secretly begun investigating.

In the end, the clues she had gathered led her to this unremarkable little shop.

Like every other customer who entered the store, Elektra was drawn to the Devil Fruits in the display case almost immediately.

It could not be helped. The Devil Fruits looked far too flashy. They were absolutely the most eye-catching things in any crowd; it was impossible for them not to draw attention.

"Shopkeeper, what kind of fruit are these?"

Elektra could not help asking as she looked at the Devil Fruits in the display case.

"These aren't fruits. They're Devil Fruits."

Rosha solemnly corrected Elektra's mistake and introduced them to her.

Devil Fruits?

Elektra paused.

Only then did she realize that the shop was called Devil Fruit Household.

She had originally thought "Devil Fruit" was merely a name, like Jack's Restaurant or Good Brothers Pizza, nothing more.

She had never expected that the merchandise sold here was actually called Devil Fruits.

But what exactly were Devil Fruits?

She had never seen such colorful fruits before.

"Devil Fruits?"

Elektra raised an eyebrow and looked at Rosha with deep confusion. "What kind of fruits are they?"

"They are fruits that contain miraculous power. If someone eats one, they can gain a superpower."

After thinking for a moment, Rosha gave Elektra a brief and straightforward explanation of what Devil Fruits did.

Elektra instinctively sneered. How could such miraculous fruits possibly exist in this world?

But then, Kingpin's glowing fist and the bizarre bullet Wesley had fired into her flashed through Elektra's mind.

Her sneer froze.

Of course, Stick had already explained the Iron Fist from K'un-Lun to Elektra, but even Stick had no idea how Wesley could fire bullets from his bare hands.

Since a person's fist could be lit up with "chi," and bullets could be fired from within one's body with bare hands, then fruits that granted superpowers after being eaten did not seem all that strange.

Elektra's attitude gradually changed.

She stared directly at Rosha and slowly asked, "What kind of superpowers can they grant? Can one grant the power to fire bullets from bare hands?"
