Lei Dong fought Hun Yu in the Heavenly Tomb, while Yao Xuan watched and killed Hun Li after he attempted a sneak attack on Yao Ling. As an energy storm approached, Yao Xuan led his group toward the third layer, where Hun Yu planned to trap them all.

• Lei Dong stopped Yao Xuan from attacking Hun Yu and challenged the Soul Clan prodigy to a fight.

Yao Xuan and his companions entered the Heavenly Tomb’s Third Layer, where Hun Yu led Hun Shang to attack them. As Hun Shang overwhelmed their Dou Saint puppets, Xiao Xuan appeared to confront the Soul Clan elder.

After hearing how Yao Xuan had been cast out of the Yao Clan, Xiao Xuan resolved to repay his debt to Yao Fang.

• Xiao Xuan welcomed Xiao Yan and Yao Xuan, then brought them and Gu Xun'er to his tomb mansion and asked after Gu Yuan.
• Xiao Yan told Xiao Xuan that the Xiao Clan had fallen, and Xiao Xuan explained his failed attempt to become Dou Di and his death in the Heavenly Tomb.
