Space rippled violently as four figures stepped out of a spatial rift, hovering silently above the skies of Starfall Pavilion.
The leader was none other than Yao Wangu. His ancient medicinal robes fluttered gently in the wind, while the immense pressure of a Four-Star Dou Saint spread like heavy clouds, blanketing the surroundings.
Behind him stood Yao Ling, her graceful figure still. Beside her, Yao Tian wore a cold and arrogant expression, while Yao Xingji lowered his eyes in silence, his thoughts unreadable.
Almost the instant the four appeared, two streaks of light shot into the sky from within Starfall Pavilion. They steadied themselves in the void opposite Yao Wangu's group, facing them from afar.
They were Yao Chen and Yao Xuan.
Seeing Yao Wangu's face again, memories of how he had personally decreed their expulsion from the Yao Clan surged into their minds.
