Chu Lan's face darkened as he ended the call.

Especially since the three of them had just seen two huge snakes entwined the night before and had been terrified.

Liu Yue clung tightly to Xueli. "Xia Yu, maybe we should wait until tomorrow to have the showdown. We can't see well at night."

Qi Ning looked back. "With all these lights, you still can't see? Do you have night blindness?"

Zhang Wen spun around in alarm, but couldn't see anyone. "What do we do? It looks like we really are surrounded."

Liu Yue fired wildly. "Just shoot. We can't see anyone anyway."

"How can you shoot if you can't see anyone?" Xueli lay on the ground, aiming her sniper rifle all over the place until she made herself dizzy. She couldn't see a thing.

Just then, a cool hand nudged her arm, shifting her gun to a different position. A low, gentle voice sounded beside her ear.

"Shoot."

Her ears tingled, and she pressed the trigger without thinking.

"Bang!"

"Beep, beep, beep!"

[Red Team's Xiang Ziqi was hit in a vital area and is out!]

[Blue Team's Xueli eliminated Red Team's Xiang Ziqi!]

The intense gunfire stopped at once. Everyone was stunned.

Xueli scrambled to her feet in disbelief. "I hit someone?! I eliminated someone?!!!"

"Holy shit!" Qi Ning gaped. "You're that good?!"

Liu Yue and Zhang Wen were both too stunned to react.

"I-I..." Her eyes lit up as she looked at Xia Yu, half his face hidden in the shadows. "You're amazing!!!"

Xia Yu smiled. "You did great."

Xueli immediately rolled aside to make room, full of confidence in him. "Go ahead!"

He raised the sniper rifle, shifted position, chambered a round, and aimed into the pitch-black thicket before pulling the trigger.

Xia Wanqing froze for two seconds, looked down at the red paint on his shoulder, pressed his lips together, and shifted position with his gun.
