The star was enormous, crimson throughout. The light and heat it released exceeded the limits of flesh and blood for ordinary beings; anyone who drew near would instantly be burned to ashes. Yet to these demon kings, it posed little threat—compared to the lightning, it was practically negligible.
As soon as they landed, the five demon kings looked around. All they saw was desolation. Not a single plant or trace of life could be found upon the land. Sand and gravel drifted with the heat waves, and the ground was riddled with cracks and fissures.
