True Vacuum Emerges at the End of Chaos

Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle!

The black shadow had long since lost its shape, soft as muddy water. When it collided with the Azure Smoke Avatar, it immediately twisted and expanded, its entire body bending like a gaping maw that sought to devour and envelop the avatar. But then came a sizzling sound, and wisps of black smoke rose from where the two met—even bloodwater could not dissolve them.

With another crisp crack, the Azure Smoke Avatar bounced out from within, rolling through the water!

Splash!

Opposite it, the black shadow suddenly swelled, smoke billowing from its body as its form twisted and changed at high speed. Then, amid repeated sounds of water breaking, one figure after another rushed out from the black shadow and revealed themselves.

"Gasp, gasp, gasp~"

Urgent panting rang out. Those figures had their mouths wide open. They were the very living beings the black shadow had swallowed along its path.

Some of these beings had originally lived within the Blood Sea's bloodwater, while others had snuck in from outside in search of opportunities. No matter which kind they were, their presence here proved they were anything but ordinary.

Yet before the black shadow corroded by Black Sha, they had possessed no power to resist. In mere moments, they had been drawn inside, merged into the black shadow, and corroded and assimilated by Black Sha.

Strangely, after devouring so many living beings, the black shadow had not expanded in size. The beings it absorbed seemed to have entered another space, causing little change in the shadow's form.
