"Where did you and Chenchen go yesterday?"

The moment he heard Yu Yaochen's name, what little patience Gu Yuechen had left vanished without a trace.

"That's my private business. I don't need to tell you."

Gu Yuechen glanced at the clock on the wall, remembering that a client would soon be coming to pick up their cat.

He got up to retrieve the cat from the observation room, but Xie Wangchi suddenly blocked his path.

"Chenchen is my friend. I have an obligation to know what he did with you."

"Then you can ask him yourself." Gu Yuechen smiled. "Oh, right. You don't dare. You're afraid your white moonlight will despise you."

Xie Wangchi narrowed his eyes and gritted out, "Gu Yuechen, do you believe I can make you get the hell out of this city for good?"

"I do, but before I leave, I definitely won't let you off easy either. I'll let Yu Yaochen know that you harbor filthy thoughts toward him."

Enraged by his words, Xie Wangchi raised his hand, ready to teach Gu Yuechen a lesson.

Just then, the customer who had come to pick up the cat arrived.
